In the digital publication Verplaatst, artist Annette Kisling photographically captures Rotterdam\u2019s urban transformation while describing the city\u2019s social shift. Kisling\u2019s artistic oeuvre includes numerous photographic series that reflect her exploration of the multi-layered meaning of the architecture that surrounds us.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

With Verplaatst, an extensive photographic series has been created that gives a complex impression of the city\u2019s development. The publication of the same name comprises a selection of 174 photographs that Kisling has compiled especially for the e-book.<\/p>\n

Annette Kisling lives in Berlin and Leipzig. She studied at the art schools in Kassel, Offenbach am Main and Hamburg. She then worked for extensive periods in Z\u00fcrich, Rotterdam, Paris, Marfa, Venice, Bangalore, Ahmedabad. Since 2009 she is Professor of Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig.\u00a0annettekisling.de<\/a><\/p>\n

Kim Bouvy is an organizer, photographer, writer, cultural producer, curator, educator and moderator.\u00a0kimbouvy.com<\/a><\/p>\n

As a publisher, lecturer and art director, Janine Sack is interested in the different media possibilities of presenting and contextualising the respective topics.<\/p>\n
