In Leder<\/em> Book Launch with K\u00e4the Kruse
<\/strong>Berlinische Galerie and EEclectic<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us for the book launch of In Leder<\/em>, by K\u00e4the Kruse. The work consists of 20 leather-covered instruments. The starting point was the drum kit that K\u00e4the Kruse played in the 1980s in the iconic band Die T\u00f6dliche Doris, which she was the first of the instruments to \u201cleather-cover\u201d in an act of transformation and redefinition. 
The e-book includes the audio recording of the unique performance Konzert in Leder<\/em> (Concert in Leather), presented in the first comprehensive institutional exhibition of K\u00e4the Kruse\u2019s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
