Constanze Fischbeck arbeitet als Bühnenbildnerin, Filmemacherin und Dozentin.

Ausgangspunkt von Fischbecks Arbeiten ist der Raum, die Gegenwart und der gesellschaftliche Kontext spezifischer Orte. In ihren filmischen Arbeiten verbindet sie Raumanalyse mit inszeniertem Diskurs und performativen sowie dokumentarischen Elementen. In ihren Entwürfen für das Theater interagieren Projektionen und Bewegtbild mit transformativen Raumstrukturen.

Ihre Arbeiten entstehen oft kollaborativ und im Dialog mit RegisseurInnen, ChoreografInnen und KünstlerInnen.
Seit Oktober 2019 ist sie Professorin für Szenografie an der HfG Karlsruhe. Sie lebt in Karlsruhe und Berlin.

Her cinematic works combine the analysis of spaces with performative, documentary and discursive approaches.

Her work was presented international at various festivals, art institutes and theatres. She works as a professor for szenography at the HfG Karlsruhe. She lives in Karlsruhe and Berlin.
